BAM macrame workshop.jpg

Macrame is known for its therapeutic benefits & as a mindful activity, has been proven to help ease anxiety & stress.

Our macrame plant hanger workshops are the perfect escapism to unwind or make a great addition to workplace team building & hen dos.

Suitable for all skill levels participants will learn the traditional knotting techniques & be guided through the steps to create a modern & stylish plant hanger, taking their creations home with them at the end of the class.  The workshops are fun, relaxed & taught at an enjoyable pace. All of the yarn we use is made from 100% recycled cotton.

Before the pandemic we used to run a regular macrame class every month in the beautiful plant shop Forest in Deptford, SE London. We can't wait to be back here teaching in person but until then we now host regular classes via IG live & zoom. We also offer private Zoom classes for virtual parties & hens. If you're interested in bringing a virtual macrame class to your work team we have a kit & video package available, just get in touch!

BAM botanics floral crown floristry work

We offer seasonal floral workshops throughout the year. Led by Ellen, a professionally trained florist, we teach participants to create beautiful pieces made from natural ingredients. From winter & spring wreaths to floral crowns for summer festivals. Using fresh & dried flowers & foliage & using traditional floristry techniques.

The relaxed & therapeutic nature of these classes makes them the perfect addition to small parties such as a hens, baby showers or team building days.

During COVID times these classes are being taught virtually & we are using a found & foraged theme to make them accessible to all. We hope to be able to teach in person again as soon as possible!

Keep an eye out on our events page for our next workshops & if you'd like to find out more or book a private class please get in touch!
